Our Story

Founded by Pearl Lapeña, Yelena grew from something deeply personal, a love for discovering pieces while traveling and bringing them home to share with others.

From the very beginning, our collection has been thoughtfully curated through Pearl’s travels to Vietnam, Thailand, China, and beyond. From discovering local labels and emerging designers to finding silhouettes and details that simply feel special, each sourcing trip has helped shape the Yelena wardrobe.

Vietnam, in particular, holds a special place in our story.

Long before Vietnamese fashion became as familiar in Cebu’s rental scene as it is today, Yelena was already bringing home handpicked pieces from Vietnam and introducing our clients to the contemporary designs we had fallen in love with.

As Yelena grew, so did our curiosity.

Our travels led us to new brands, new designers and eventually a more elevated collection, including high-end names such as Aje and Zimmermann, pieces we were proud to introduce to Cebu’s rental scene.

FROM 30 PIECES TO 1,000+

What began with a small collection has grown into 1,000+ thoughtfully curated pieces, now housed across two Yelena studios with a combined 120 sqm of space and 10 dressing rooms.

But despite how much we’ve grown, our approach remains the same.We travel. We discover. We choose what we love. And we bring it home.

Our racks are filled with pieces from different places, designers and stories from contemporary Vietnamese fashion and emerging international labels to premium and high-end pieces for life’s most memorable occasions.

We believe getting dressed should feel exciting.

Whether it’s for a birthday, a wedding, a dinner, a trip, or simply a moment when you want to feel a little more special, we hope there’s always something at Yelena waiting for you to discover.

And somewhere between one sourcing trip and the next, our little collection continues to grow.

Not simply with more clothes, but with more stories, more discoveries, and more beautiful pieces to share with Cebu.
